The Athletics have spent $600 cardinal on the Las Vegas ballpark construction, according to the team, 14 months after breaking ground on the $2 cardinal project.
A’s brass are scheduled to provide a stadium advancement update Thursday to the Las Vegas Stadium Authority. Team executives will detail recent construction milestones and provide an update on play‑by‑play income for the 33,000‑fan capableness stadium, which is set to open in 2028.
Bally’s Corp. is also expected to indicate at the meeting that it is ready to move up with the northwest plaza phase of its multiphase $1.19 cardinal mixed‑use development on the 35‑acre former Tropicana hotel site.
Bally’s had received interest from a prospective buyer to acquire its rights to the mixed‑use project, but a deal had not been announced as of Thursday.
The multi‑level podium on the northwest portion of the site will feature parking on three levels and a plaza on the top level connecting to the main entrance of the stadium.
Bally’s was previously expected to build a parking garage and retail space for the project site, but the A’s have now assumed responsibility for that work. The 1,500‑space parking garage and retail space will be built on the southeast portion of the site.
