Becky Hammon earned one of the two head‑coaching spots for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game after guiding the Las Vegas Aces to an 88‑80 victory over the Portland Fire on Thursday. The honor goes to the head coaches of the two teams holding the best regular‑season records through July 10. The Aces and the Minnesota Lynx entered the cutoff tied for the league’s top mark at 16‑6.
This selection marks Hammon’s third All-Star Game coaching assignment. She previously served in that role in 2022 and led Team Wilson to a 143‑127 win in the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game.
