A devastating electrical fire has left two small businesses in the Arts District reeling—and they need the community’s help. 

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026 at 1:55 p.m., reports surfaced of an electrical fire that ravaged two modest establishments in Las Vegas’ Arts District. The blaze, which began the previous day, heavily damaged four structures linked to the incident on August 18. Among the affected venues were Analog Dope, a specialty bookstore launched in 2022 by partners Rachelle and Charlie Luster, and Raw Remedies, an earth‑focused salon that owner Bobbie Mullins has operated for the past 16 years. Analog Dope’s mission centers on amplifying Black voices and highlighting LGBTQ and POC communities through curated literature and vinyl records. Raw Remedies emphasizes hairstyling that goes beyond appearance, aiming to make clients feel truly seen.
