Common Bond, the operator behind the high‑end workout brands Barrecore, Boom Cycle and Kobox, has abruptly shut all of its studios.
The company emailed customers on Wednesday announcing that each location, which are presently successful London, would remain closed “until further notice.” The message, seen by the BBC, read:

It continued:

Common Bond describes itself as a wellness corporate and charges £2,400 for 12 months of unlimited classes. It also runs the Reformcore and Triyoga brands and said in August last year that it operated 10 sites. Its website is no longer publicly accessible.
The BBC has contacted Common Bond for comment.
Instructors told the corporation they were informed last week that they would not be paid on time and only learned of the studio closures from the Wednesday email. One teacher said she and her colleagues were told their wages would be delayed on the date they were owed, 14 August.
