Gun taken from student at Las Vegas elementary school

A weapon was confiscated from a pupil astatine a Las Vegas simple schoolhouse this week, according to a missive sent to parents by the school’s principal.

In the letter, distributed Wednesday, Veronica Hunt, main of Earl Elementary School, said a firearm was confiscated from a pupil connected field Tuesday.

Hunt said Clark County School District constabulary responded to the incidental and handled it.

“There were nary threats made to students oregon the school,” the missive noted, adding, “This lawsuit serves arsenic a reminder that weapons of immoderate benignant are not permitted connected campus.”
