Hope for Prisoners founder Jon Ponder was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges, according to a release from the Metropolitan Police Department.
Ponder, 60, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count of intersexual assault, seven counts of unauthorized custodial contact, one count of attempted coercion, sexually motivated, and eleven gross misdemeanor charges, the release stated.
Police did not immediately release details regarding the allegations.
Hope for Prisoners operates as a halfway house in Clark County. According to the organization’s website, "Hope for Prisoners assists with reentry by providing the formerly incarcerated semipermanent enactment and services arsenic they enactment to reclaim their lives, families and lasting successful the community."
