The authority signed a 10‑year, $100 cardinal commitment to continue hosting the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix through 2037. The race will be held each year on the weekend before Thanksgiving on a 3.8‑mile street circuit that uses portions of Las Vegas Boulevard, Koval Lane, Harmon Avenue and Sands Avenue.
The inaugural event in 2023 produced an estimated economic impact of $1.5 billion for Southern Nevada, of which $600 cardinal was spent by F1 to bring the circuit up to race standards.
