Braun points out that California residents now face prices close to $8 per gallon. He adds that he fills his tank twice a week and feels the strain at the pump, yet he refuses to accept left‑wing promises of cheaper fuel. According to Braun, the root cause of high gasoline prices is the dismantling of the United States’ foremost military force, which he identifies as the backer of global terrorism, Iran.
