Metro Police respond to barricade near Flamingo Road

LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is presently engaged in a barricade incident at the 4000 block of University Center adjacent to Flamingo Road. Metro police describe the situation as a barricade concern related to the alleged malicious demolition of property. SWAT units and crisis negotiators are on the scene, and the roads in the area have been closed.
