South East Water says its teams are exhausted as it tries to restore water to areas in Kent.

By Daniel Sexton, South East and Simon Jones Over 8,000 South East Water customers have experienced water supply disruptions across parts of Kent, the utility confirmed. The worst‑hit areas are Cranbrook and Benenden. Residents were told that service might not return for a couple of days after four days of interrupted supply. Bottled‑water stations are set to reopen early in Cranbrook, Canterbury, Challock and Herne Bay, although South East Water says most customers in Herne Bay should see their supplies
