The highest tribunal successful Nevada has ordered a little tribunal to assistance a preliminary injunction against a decades-old termination instrumentality that requires parents to beryllium notified if their kid seeks an abortion.
The Nevada Supreme Court issued the ruling Thursday successful a 22-page opinion. The instrumentality has been connected the books since 1985 but was not enforced until past year.
In its opinion, the precocious tribunal called the instrumentality “unconstitutionally vague” and said the appeal, brought by Planned Parenthood and a Nevada physician, has a tenable likelihood of success.
“We reverse the bid denying the petition for a preliminary injunction and remand the substance to the territory tribunal with instructions to assistance the preliminary injunction,” the tribunal stated successful its conclusion.
The law, which went unenforced for decades, went into effect successful July 2025. A national justice ruled that, aft the overturning of Roe v.
