The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of impairment. According to a Nevada Highway Patrol release, the collision occurred just after 1:25 a.m. on northbound Interstate 15, shortly south of Flamingo Road. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
