People escape historic Kyiv building hit by Russian drone

Ukraine's National Academy of Sciences was hit by a Russian drone strike, killing one person and leaving three injured, according to city's politician Vitaliy Klitschko. Footage showed people leaning out of windows as they evacuated the burning building. Firefighters helped evacuate individuals through the windows while a plume of black smoke billowed from the structure. BBC diplomatic correspondent Paul Adams was on the scene as emergency services attempted to halt the raging fire.
