The five‑day 2026 World Robot Conference got underway on Wednesday, underscoring the country’s continued expansion of its robotics industry.
As the conference opened, Unitree Robotics—identified as the world’s biggest humanoid robot shaper—launched its market debut in Shanghai.
The firm’s entries are now competing in the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games, which began on Saturday in the capital.
The games feature more than 2,000 robots representing 16 nations.
