Cumbria Police says the 17-year-old girl suffered a medical episode.

A 17‑year‑old female died after a medical episode at the Kendal Calling festival in Cumbria during the early hours of Saturday morning, police confirmed. The incident took place at approximately 02:15 BST, and the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. Cumbria Police said they are investigating the circumstances and are keen to speak with anyone who was in the vicinity of the Calling Out structure and the Big Wheel around the time of the death. A police spokesperson stated: "Officers are peculiarly keen to talk with a radical of women who alerted archetypal responders to the miss aft becoming acrophobic for her welfare." The girl’s family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
