Castleford Tigers head coach Ryan Carr leaves the club for "personal reasons".

Castleford Tigers head coach Ryan Carr has departed the club for personal reasons, the team announced. Carr was stood down two weeks ago, and last week rugby manager Chris Chester said the club were "following a process". The 38‑year‑old Australian, who had been appointed to a three‑year contract in August after serving as an assistant with the NRL’s St George Illawarra Dragons, leaves with a record of seven wins from 21 Super League matches in charge, leaving Castleford ninth in the 14‑team table.
