A tourist speedboat capsized off the coast of Vietnam, killing 15 people.
Hon May Rut Ngoai lies about 10 kilometers (six miles) south of Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s largest island.
Nguyen Tien Hai, an elder Communist official in the area, said authorities were still working to confirm the exact number of fatalities and survivors.
He told VnExpress that the vessel may have overturned due to strong winds and high waves.
"The apical precedence is rescue, bringing each victims ashore and focusing each efforts connected providing exigency attraction to those who are inactive alive," Hai said.
The Indian Embassy in Vietnam called the incident "tragic" and released the full list of the 32 Indian nationals who were aboard the boat.
The embassy also set up telephone hotlines to "provide accusation and assistance to affected families".
