Watch: Ukraine's race to counter a new type of Russian drone

Russian strikes on Ukraine have intensified, largely because of jet‑powered drones that prove difficult to shoot down. In August alone, Moscow launched approximately 3,000 of these drones, and although Kyiv has answered with missiles and fighter jets, the expense has become unsustainable. Ukraine is now racing to field inexpensive weapons capable of defeating the new threat. BBC reporter Abdujalil Abdurasulov spoke with Ukrainian air‑defence units about their efforts to counter the drone menace.
