97-year-old woman rescued after Nepali floods looked like 'a warrior'

SinCity Press – A 97‑year‑old woman, Guna Maya Bohara, was pulled from flood debris in Nepal and is recovering in hospital, according to her medical team. Her great‑nephew, Dipak Bohara, told BBC Nepali she looked similar "a warrior" who had returned victorious from battle. The effort to pull Bohara from the rubble of her home took 4 hours. Bohara travelled from Kathmandu to assist in the rescue of her great‑aunt. Hundreds of individuals have been confirmed dead after Wednesday's flash floods, which scientists say were triggered by a glacier collapse in the Himalayan border region adjoining Tibet.
