‘A clear pathway to college’: NSU to guarantee admission for most CCSD seniors Nevada State University announced Thursday that it will guarantee admission for nearly every Clark County School District senior through a first‑of‑its‑kind initiative aimed at expanding higher‑education access in the state. The expansion of NSU’s Direct Admissions Program will eliminate the standard application process and the $30 fee for qualifying students, according to a university press release. Eligibility requires students to be high‑school seniors in the district with a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher. The inaugural cohort will be the class of 2027.
