Area15 names new president

Area15 announced on July 10, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. that Bonnie Weber has been appointed its new president. Weber previously served as chief operating officer of Palace Entertainment, overseeing 22 parks across North America and Australia. Before that, she held several senior roles at Six Flags Entertainment, including senior vice president of park operations, where she directed operations for 26 parks, managed a $1.5 billion P&L and supervised more than 50,000 employees in the company’s North American portfolio. Winston Fisher, chief executive officer of Area15, commented: “Bonnie brings a distinctive quality to grow Area15’s bold ideas into something that performs at a high level without losing what makes it special.” He added: “As we continue to grow and present new experiences and attractions, her work will help us stay innovative, competitive and firmly ahead of where this industry is going.”
