BBC Scotland HQ evacuated after fire breaks out

BBC Scotland headquarters in Glasgow has been evacuated after a fire broke out.

It is understood it happened in a plant room on the fifth floor of the building at roof level.

All staff left the building when a fire alarm sounded at about 06:30.

BBC Radio Scotland Breakfast was taken off air switching to pre-recorded music and breakfast television bulletins were suspended.
