Bills Mafia invaded Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, with the majority of attendees wearing blue and red as they supported the Buffalo Bills in their game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The crowd erupted in a loud 'M-V-P' chant after Josh Allen threw an improbable passing touchdown in the third quarter, showcasing the fans’ energy and unity.
Allen said the fan turnout at the team’s last two away games — in Los Angeles and Las Vegas — felt like playing at home, noting it fed the team and improved their performance. The official attendance was 62,618. Bills Mafia made the most of the first time the Bills played in Las Vegas with fans allowed in the stadium, participating in a weekend of events leading up to the game.
Events included a Bills gathering at Luke Combs’ new Category 10 bar at the Flamingo, hosted by Fans of Buffalo, and multiple activities at Naked City Pizza/Office Bar near UNLV. A Bills Mafia welcome party on Friday and a pregame party on Saturday drew hundreds, featuring former wide receiver Stevie Johnson. A tailgate west of Allegiant Stadium, also put on by Fans of Buffalo, sold out before kickoff.
Fans of Buffalo offered full travel packages for the trip, including flights, hotel stays at the Flamingo, game tickets, and an all-inclusive tailgate, with four-night packages ranging from $1,999 to $2,999. Former Bills player Stevie Johnson said he wasn’t surprised by the turnout, calling the fan base dedicated and respectful. Kristen Ruesch from New York completed a 21-year journey to see the Bills play in every NFL stadium, finally checking Allegiant Stadium off her list after missing the 2021 game due to pandemic restrictions.
