Oregon has a second five-star commitment to its 2026 recruiting class.
Jett Washington, ranked No. 29 overall nationally and the top-ranked player in Nevada, committed to the Ducks on Thursday.
The 6-foot-5, 200-pound safety out of Bishop Gorman High School chose UO over USC and Alabama.
Washington’s .9846 ranking in the 247Sports Composite would rank 16th all-time among Oregon signees.
Washington was the 2024 MaxPreps Nevada Player of the Year, posting 38 tackles with five interceptions, two pass breakups and one forced fumble as a junior.
He also had 37 tackles and two interceptions as a sophomore.
The addition of Washington gives Oregon nine commits in its 2026 class, which moved up nine spots to No. 28 overall in the 247Sports rankings and No. 2 on a per player basis.
