Brentford's Wissa completes £55m Newcastle move

Newcastle United have signed forward Yoane Wissa for £55m from Brentford.

The fee for the DR Congo international, who scored 19 Premier League goals last season, is an initial £50m plus £5m in add-ons.

Brentford rejected two previous offers for Wissa from the Magpies this summer.

The move comes after Newcastle sold striker Alexander Isak to Liverpool for a British transfer record fee of £125m.
