British cyclist Finlay Tarling, aged 19, has died following a serious crash during the eighth stage of the Volta a Portugal. Tarling, the younger brother of Ineos Grenadiers rider Josh, had represented Great Britain in both road and track competitions. He was riding for the NSN Development Team when the incident took place on the 166.8‑kilometre stretch between Melgaco and Fafe. More details to follow.
