Isaac Garibay had a fumble return for a touchdown for the Cimarron-Memorial football team Friday night in a 21-6 win over Cheyenne.
It was Cimarron’s fifth straight win in the Duel in the Desert rivalry game.
“Huge for our school and our kids,” Cimarron coach Shane Kanie said. “For us to go five in a row and have that winning edge, that’s huge for our program.”
Jordan Newsome had an interception return for a touchdown for the Spartans, and KJ Hill added a 6-yard touchdown run. Jaxson White made all three of his extra point attempts.
