The dam closed to visitors on Monday for repair of the facility’s cableway system. The dam and powerplant continued operating normally throughout the temporary closure, and employees maintained access to the installation via alternate routes, the statement said. “We admit everyone’s patience portion our teams worked to support visitant information and resoluteness this issue,” said Reclamation Lower Colorado Basin Acting Regional Director Genevieve Johnson. “Safety is ever our apical priority.” This is a developing story.
