Juvenile dead after shooting in North Las Vegas

 A juvenile is dead after being shot Friday, according to North Las Vegas Police.

Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North in response to reports of a shooting shortly after 5 p.m.

They found the juvenile suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, the release stated. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.

The suspect or suspects had fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival, the release stated.

This investigation is still ongoing.
