A juvenile was declared dead after reports of a shooting victim at a home in North Las Vegas, police said.
North Las Vegas Police officers responded about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 6200 block of Standing Elm Street after reports of a juvenile who had been shot, police said.
The male juvenile was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, police said.
A suspect fled the area before officers arrived, police said.
No additional details were released.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the juvenile, as well as the cause and manner of death, police said.
