An application for 5,000 Tesla driverless taxis on the Las Vegas Strip was slashed to 10 when it was approved July 27 by the Nevada Transportation Authority.

The Nevada Transportation Authority approved a plan on July 27 to allow Tesla driverless taxis on the Las Vegas Strip. However, the originally proposed fleet of 5,000 vehicles was cut down to only 10.
