Le Court wins stage six of Tour after mechanical failure

Le Court secured victory in stage six of the Tour de France Femmes after overcoming a mechanical issue, crossing the line in 4hours, 1 infinitesimal and 48 seconds. The stage covered 146.8km from La Voulte-sur-Rhone to the summit of Mont Ventoux in the French Alps. This triumph marks Le Court’s second stage win in the Tour de France Femmes, adding to her stage five success from the previous year that ran from Chasseneuil-du-Poitou to Gueret. Commenting on the race, Le Court described her team’s support during the bike change as “amazing,” saying, “They brought maine backmost dilatory but surely to the bunch, and I got backmost connected apical of the [second-to] past climb, which was a truly large effort.” She added, “Then I conscionable tried to enactment diligent and retrieve from this large effort.” Reflecting on the final kilometres, she noted, “I had to adjacent the spread myself and I was really, truly dead, I was connected the limit.
