LETTER: Nevada needs stricter DUI laws

Randy Kornfield of Henderson submitted a letter to the editor on August 9, 2026 at 9:01 p.m., urging Nevada legislators to adopt tougher DUI measures. In the correspondence he wrote: "Shoplifting is simply a misdemeanor, with small accidental of causing superior wounded oregon death. He contended that reclassifying DUI as a low‑grade felony and imposing dram‑shop liability on establishments that over‑serve patrons would address what he described as indispensable alterations needed in Nevada law.
