Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady said Maxx Crosby is one of the rare players capable of changing a game simply by suiting up and stepping onto the field, regardless of how opponents game plan against him. Brady described Crosby as 'literally relentless,' noting that he never slows down and is always a threat on every play.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen echoed Brady’s assessment, pointing to Crosby’s effort and ability to remain involved in plays. Allen said Crosby’s motor makes him extremely relentless, that he’s never out of the play and is on the field dang near every snap, requiring constant awareness.
Buffalo offensive tackle Spencer Brown said Crosby’s ability to play at a high level without relying on a particular scheme makes him especially difficult to game plan against, adding that Crosby doesn’t have to rely on schemes or technique and can just go out and play the game at a really high level.
Bills pass rusher Bradley Chubb praised Crosby’s technique, noting how consistently he finds a way to get involved regardless of where the ball goes, saying he’s always active, always moving, always using his hands, and has good footwork that helps him stand apart.
