The Las Vegas Raiders head to Gillette Stadium on Sunday to face the New England Patriots, aiming to bounce back after Kansas City rallied for 20 fourth-quarter points to hand Las Vegas its first loss of the season, 30-27. New England enters off its best performance of the year, a 29-26 win over Buffalo in which quarterback Drake Maye threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for a team-high 54 yards to earn AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Running back Ashton Jeanty is listed as questionable after a foot issue limited him Thursday and kept him out of Friday's practice, though coach Klint Kubiak said Jeanty will travel with the team. "He's going to do his best to go," Kubiak said Friday. "It's that time of year. Guys are getting banged up, and if he can't go, we got to get the next man up." Jeanty has been managing an ankle injury since the preseason.
The Raiders will also be without receiver Dont'e Thornton, who will not be activated from injured reserve. Las Vegas enters as a 3½-point underdog according to Caesars Sportsbook. The matchup features a Patriots offense led by Maye against a Raiders defense that leads the league in takeaways.
Sunday's game marks a return to Foxborough, where the Raiders opened the Pete Carroll era with a 20-13 victory on Sept. 7, 2025, fueled by Geno Smith's 362 passing yards and a go-ahead touchdown run by Jeanty. Las Vegas finished 3-14 that season in Carroll's only year, while New England reached the Super Bowl.
Kickoff is set for Sunday with radio coverage on KRLV-AM (920) and KOMP-FM (92.3) featuring Jason Horowitz on play-by-play and Kirk Morrison as analyst.
