Man sentenced to prison for killing girlfriend; police said he told them: ‘I did it’

Chief District Judge Tierra Jones sentenced Brandon Tenorio, 42, to 20 years in prison on Thursday after he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the 2023 killing of his girlfriend, Kourtney Glover. Tenorio was arrested shortly after Glover’s body was found at a residence on the 3500 block of Mountain Valley Drive, near Fort Apache Road and Gowan Road. The Metropolitan Police Department said Glover had suffered blunt‑force injuries and stab wounds, and that Tenorio told officers, “I did it. I killed her,” as he exited the home with blood on his hands and arms.
