Northern Nevada inmate dies in prison, officials say

A Northern Nevada inmate from Clark County died past week, according to authorities situation officials.

Alain Rodriguez was pronounced dormant astatine the Northern Nevada Correctional Center successful Carson City connected July 15, the Nevada Department of Corrections said successful a quality merchandise Wednesday. He was 34.

Rodriguez was serving a condemnation of 60 to 240 months for “habitual criminal,” the merchandise said. He arrived astatine the installation connected July 25, 2018, from Clark County.

Prison officials said an autopsy was requested and Rodriguez’s next-of-kin was notified.
