PWHL Las Vegas revealed its home and away jerseys on Thursday, Oct. 8, ahead of the team’s on-ice debut against PWHL Detroit on Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Arena. The jerseys feature 'VEGAS' stitched diagonally across the front, following the tradition for PWHL teams’ debut seasons. The team currently does not have a name or logo, though both are expected to be announced before training camp begins on Nov. 18.
The color palette—green, gold, and navy blue—was inspired by the scenery of Southern Nevada. The primary green home jerseys reflect the beauty of the desert valley, while the custom gold accent color, created specifically for the team, evokes the sparkle of the desert sun. Navy stripes provide a striking contrast and nod to the desert at night.
Forward Hayley Scamurra said, 'I absolutely love the jerseys and feel like they perfectly encapsulate Vegas’ energy, especially with the pop of gold throughout. I cannot wait to represent the Vegas community with these jerseys!' Amy Scheer, PWHL Executive Vice President of Business Operations, added that the jerseys give fans another way to show pride while carrying forward the PWHL tradition of putting the city name front and center in a team’s inaugural season.
Home jerseys, including personalized player options, will be available for purchase in the week leading up to PWHL Opening Weekend on Dec. 5 and 6. Fans signed up for the PWHL Las Vegas Insider Newsletter will be notified first. Jersey-inspired player name and number shirts featuring Hayley Scamurra, Nicole Hensley, and Tessa Janecke are available now through the online shop and at T-Mobile Arena.
