Quail Springs fire has burned more than 2,000 acres near Area 51 in Lincoln County. The lightning‑caused wildfire spread across the Nevada Test and Training Range adjacent to the restricted facility. Though officials said no residences or structures are presently threatened, the blaze continues to consume vegetation across the remote desert landscape.
