Dare Ogunbowale, who will enter his eighth season, signed with the Raiders on Thursday morning, the organization announced.

The Las Vegas Raiders have added veteran running back Dare Ogunbowale to their roster. Ogunbowale, who has nine years of NFL experience, signed with the team on Thursday morning, the organization announced. He previously spent two separate stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2017 to 2020, a period during which Raiders wide receivers coach John Spytek worked in the Buccaneers' front office. Over his career, Ogunbowale has appeared in 114 games, making nine starts, and has also suited up for the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars and Washington Football Team. Last season he played in all 17 games for Houston, primarily on special teams, tallying 11 carries for 25 yards and a touchdown along with 10 receptions for 78 yards. His arrival provides depth to a running back group that currently lacks experienced backup options behind starter Ashton Jeanty and rookie Mike Washington Jr.
