Raiders part-owner swears on live TV in reaction to Jayden Daniels’ injury

Las Vegas Raiders part‑owner Tom Brady let slip an expletive on live television while reacting to Jayden Daniels’ injury during the Washington Commanders’ game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. After the slow‑motion replay showed Daniels’ leg twisting awkwardly into the turf, Brady, who was serving as FOX’s colour commentator alongside play‑by‑play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, muttered an expletive before quickly apologizing to the audience. “Aw s—-,” Brady said, immediately following it with, “excuse me.” The seven‑time Super Bowl champion began his broadcasting role in September 2024 after signing a 10‑year, $375 cardinal agreement with FOX and has since appeared on more than 20 regular‑season and postseason broadcasts. Daniels, the Commanders’ starting quarterback, was carted off the field with a towel over his head after sustaining what appeared to be a serious leg injury. He was replaced in the second half by backup Marcus Mariota. Earlier in the day, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams also left his contest versus the Minnesota Vikings following a noncontact injury.
