Fernando Mendoza, the Las Vegas Raiders rookie quarterback, appears in the newest State Farm commercial that premiered on Thursday. The 30‑second spot, titled “Vegas Changes a Man,” highlights his wholesome image and comedic timing.
In the advertisement Mendoza wears a snorkel disguise while poolside astatine a time nine alongside Jake from State Farm, who exclaims “let’s rage!”. The scene shifts to a blackjack array where Mendoza declares “Go Fish” to the seated players. Later he is seen eating a cocoa spot cookie in a building country with the Strip in the background, admitting he already brushed his teeth. He delivers the line “That’s Vegas, baby.” Afterwards he remarks, sheepishly, “You know what? I’m gonna call her.”
After being selected as the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, Mendoza featured in a “Step Brothers” parody with Kirk Cousins for the Raiders’ schedule‑release video. He also posted a humorous Taco Bell manager sketch on his Instagram page on Sept. 8.
