Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty appeared on the injury report with a new foot injury Thursday, limiting his participation in practice at the team's Henderson facility. Jeanty had been a full participant Wednesday with only an ankle injury listed, an issue he has been managing since training camp.
Coach Klint Kubiak is scheduled to address reporters after Friday's practice before the team travels to New England for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Wide receiver Jalen Nailor remained sidelined in concussion protocol, while starting right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson returned as a full participant after missing last week's loss to Cincinnati with a groin injury.
Wide receiver Dareke Young was also added to Thursday's report with a shoulder injury. The receiving corps has been hit hard, with Jack Bech already on injured reserve and Dont'e Thornton Jr. still on IR with a hamstring injury, though Thornton practiced fully for a second straight day after his practice window opened Wednesday.
Rookie Malik Benson, a training camp standout from Oregon, could see increased offensive snaps with the receiver group depleted. The Raiders offensive line will also need to improve to support the running game as the team prepares for the Patriots following a narrow home loss to Kansas City.
