Rodri out for 'short period' after back surgery

Manchester City midfielder Rodri will be sidelined for a "short play of rehabilitation" following back surgery, the club announced. New head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed on Friday that the Spaniard will undergo an assessment on Monday, adding that Rodri "needs a holiday, he needs to rest and recover and then he will be back with us."
