Tottenham agree a deal to sign Manchester City winger Savinho for £75m, with a further £10m in potential add-ons.

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £75 million transfer fee with Manchester City for the acquisition of winger Savinho, with the potential for an additional £10 million in performance‑related add‑ons. The 22‑year‑old Brazilian is set to undergo a medical examination before signing a long‑term contract with Spurs. The move has been in the works for over a year, after Spurs’ unsuccessful attempt to secure his services during the previous summer transfer window. Savinho chose to remain at the Etihad Stadium last season, but his opportunities were limited under Pep Guardiola, featuring in just seven Premier League starts. Tottenham’s recent investment in midfield—£185 million combined for Mateus Fernandes of West Ham United and Sandro Tonali of Newcastle United—has been followed by a push to strengthen the attacking options under head manager Roberto de Zerbi. Nevertheless, the club appears poised to continue its spending, as sources indicate that negotiations for another City teammate, Omar Marmoush, are advancing positively. Marmoush, an Egypt international who joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million in 2025, fell down the pecking order last season. In addition, Tottenham retain interest in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, although it remains uncertain whether the club could finance a deal for the Dutch attacker alongside pursuits for Marmoush and Savinho. Further details are expected.
