The Bold Type pulled back the curtain on what it’s like to work for a high-profile magazine in New York City — and fans are still obsessed with all three leading ladies.
On the Freeform series, which aired from 2017 to 2021, best friends Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens), Kat Edison (Aisha Dee) and Sutton Brady (Meghann Fahy) weathered the many storms that came with working their way up the Scarlet magazine ladder.
As they earned their dream jobs, the trio also navigated whirlwind romances, taboo sex talks and so much more. When the series ended after five seasons, viewers were left wanting more — and so was star Dan Jeannotte, who played Ryan “Pinstripe” Decker.
“That whole gang was just incredible, and I hope I get to work with them again,” Jeannotte exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2023. “The whole cast was just — they’re fantastic people.”

He noted that Stevens became “a real dear friend now,” as did the rest of the group. Still, he wished he had “more screen time” with Fahy. Jeannotte added that he has continued to keep tabs on his castmates and thought Fahy was “incredible” on The White Lotus.
