Donald Trump secretly switched planes while returning from a NATO gathering in an effort to evade a perceived threat from Iran, according to US media reports. The president boarded Air Force One in Ankara, Turkey, on 8 July before being moved to another aircraft with the help of a catering truck, the Washington Post said. He was later observed disembarking Air Force One in the United Kingdom, where he boarded a newer, Qatari‑gifted plane and continued on to the United States.
