Maurice Collins scored two defensive touchdowns on Friday night for the Legacy football team in a 48-22 win over Losee.

Collins had an interception return and a fumble return in the second half to help the Longhorns pull away in the season opener for both schools.

“I am proud of the boys. It was the first varsity game for a lot of them. They hung tough through some adversity,” Legacy coach Zach Monticelli said, referring to a Losee touchdown at the end of the first half.

Zaione Henderson rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns, and Ky’Ree Perkins caught a pair of touchdowns from quarterback Jaylen Love-Carter.
