Henderson Animal Protection Services seized 21 Sphynx cats after welfare concerns were raised regarding Sin City Sphynx and breeder Shanti Cloonan, according to the City of Henderson.
‘a section tribunal determined that Cloonan was unfit to clasp ownership of the animals and custody of the 21 cats was awarded to the City of Henderson.’
Many of the cats were reportedly recovered suffering from illnesses and carnal abnormalities associated with breeding practices that raised the carnal payment concerns, the city’s connection said.
The cats will receive veterinary care and the necessary interventions to address their health and welfare needs while in APS custody.
Further details on how to follow or rescue the Sphynx cats will be made available once all the animals are healthy.
The city is also seeking public assistance regarding any cats that experienced serious health problems after being purchased from Sin City Sphynx or Cloonan. Anyone with information is asked to contact Henderson Animal Protection Services at 702-267-4970.
