Accused shooter in double homicide at Las Vegas store pleads guilty

Alejandro Estrada, 43, pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of murder with use of a deadly weapon in the killings of Amanda and Victor Frias Rosas, according to court records. Estrada agreed to serve a sentence of 56 years to life in prison under the terms of a plea document.

Authorities said Estrada walked into the Smith's at 9750 S. Maryland Parkway in May and shot the couple as they shopped. The victims, who were married in 2025, both worked at the store.

Police have said Amanda Frias Rosas was the mother of Estrada's children and that the two were involved in a child support dispute. Estrada was reportedly concerned about being jailed over unpaid support at the time of the shooting.
